This drum and chocolate cake was prepared to get some leftover Christmas .... cake, dried fruit, almond biscuits, chocolate, etc. .... then I could not escape the competition recycle Christmas organized by DolciTorte ! I took this opportunity to give space to a passion born recently, the decorated cakes! This is not a real cake, however, because the mixture which is below the decoration is that of chocolate salami! Hope you enjoy!
Ingredients:
x base :
150 g chocolate 75 g butter 1 tablespoon honey
100 g panettone
100 g of biscuits
50 g of dried fruit (I used apricots Noberasco )

Procedure:
Put in a pot chocolate, butter and honey in a double boiler and melt it all.

Procedure:
Put in a pot chocolate, butter and honey in a double boiler and melt it all.
Place cookies in a bag and chop them coarsely with a rolling pin (I used the grinders ).
Cut into small pieces and dried fruits. I used the apricot Noberasco , a leader in the production of dried fruits and dehydrated.
Combine in a bowl cake crumbled, crushed cookies and pieces of dried fruit. Add the melted chocolate and mix with a spoon.
Mix well until you get to mix. Place the mixture into a round mold ( mine is 15 cm in diameter ), pressing with a glass and let it rest in refrigerator for at least 6 hours.
invert on a serving dish and decorate it to give the appearance of a drum. Lay a strip of blue mmf, trim the base and place it around the cake. Cut off any excess.
Cover the top con uno strato di mmf bianco ritagliato con l'aiuto dello stampo e creare una striscia rosa per coprire eventuali imperfezioni.
Con l'mmf giallo ritagliare tante strisce con la rotella tagliapasta zigrinata e creare il classico disegno del tamburo.
Aggiungere delle palline di mmf verde e sistemare sopra il clown in pasta di zucchero preparato prima! Ho fatto anche le bacchette con mmf al cacao.
